Meet the Team
Elizabeth Evans - Owner and President
Elizabeth founded E2 Design and Construction, LLC in early 2017. A business leader and entrepreneur who has called Jacksonville her home for the past 10 years, she has worked as a construction management professional in the residential, commercial, and government sectors, managing over $300 million worth of vertical construction in the last decade. She found her passion for construction while studying civil engineering at West Point. She has worked at every level in the construction field from Superintendent through Director of Construction positions at the State and Regional level for both private and public companies. After working for other firms and continuing to serve in the Florida Army National Guard, Elizabeth decided to combine the two things she liked most out of both careers - leading, mentoring, and developing a team of technical and creative construction management professionals to serve the Jacksonville community. A licensed General and Roofing Contractor, she continues to expand her certifications and licenses, staying on the very cutting edge of construction technology. If you cannot find her on a job site meeting with homeowners or members of her team, you will likely find her running marathons in the area as a pace-group leader or actively serving on several non-profit boards in leadership roles such as the West Point Society of North Florida where she serves as their President.
Heather Evans Position - Operations
Heather brings with her literally a lifetime of experience in custom home building and renovations, learning the business from her parents at an early age who developed, built and remodeled over 500 homes in the Jacksonville metro area. A licensed Florida Real Estate agent, she has an eye for market value improving designs and concepts. Not only does Heather work with customers during their material selection process, often times you will find Heather in the place she enjoys most - working on the job sites alongside her Dad. From subway tile backsplash designs to bathroom renovations and kitchen transformations to keeping the office supplies and snacks constantly full - Heather is truly a “Jill of All Trades” and we are so very lucky to have her on our team!
Liz Ellis - Project Manager
Liz brings over five years of experience in Construction Management, specifically related to damage restoration, roofing repairs and replacement, and residential remodels. Liz holds two Bachelor's degrees, one in Construction Management from LSU and another in Economics from Auburn. Additionally, she is currently completing her Master's Degree in Construction Management at LSU. She is a meticulous detail-oriented manager and with a proven track record of success in the restoration industry!
Jason Reisdorf - Business Development
Jason joins us with an extensive background ranging from beautiful outdoor hardscapes to complex renovations and extensive experience in roof replacements. Jason grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Morgantown, West Virginia before Settling into Northeast Florida 10 years ago. The first 18 years of his professional life were in the restaurant industry. After “retiring” from the restaurant life and selling his Brewery, he owned a few small construction companies in West Virginia and Florida. He successfully passed all phases of the Florida General Contractor’s Exam in 2008 and has worked in sales and project management roles since then. He specializes in casting vision for simple to complex renovations and listening to what is important to his customers. It is his goal everyday to make their dreams a reality.
His other interests include: Jeeps, cycling, soccer, music, family and the great outdoors. He loves animals, flowers and (almost) anything that is purple. His loyalty is second to none and he is eager to help anyone.
Ryan Carelson - Project Coordinator
Ryan works with both our clients and our internal team to see that projects go from the conceptual design to tangible results. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College and has worked various levels of project management in the construction industry since graduation in 2013. Ryan was a four-year NCAA student-athlete which he credits his skill in multi-tasking and bringing a team-orientated approach to accomplishing goals for both the company and our customers. While Ryan is well versed in the administrative tasks of day-to-day operations that are needed to keep the wheels moving, Ryan is also knowledgeable in Xactimate and is IICRC Water Technician Certified. Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, traveling, and watching both professional and college football. Go Cowboys and Roll Tide!
Bradley Evans - Superintendent
Bradley Evans is our Superintendent, often found interacting with homeowners and subcontractors throughout the construction process. Bradley was quite literally raised on a jobsite, as his father ran a framing company for 15 years before transitioning into being a successful general contractor.
This was after his father met his step mother, a successful interior designer. They merged and became Evans Building & Design (not to be confused with E Squared Design & Construction!). Bradley's first job as a 13-year-old boy was tossing rafter blocks up to his father's framers and keeping the jobsite clean. His first job following working in the family business was working as an apprentice Amira Builders, honing his skills in custom finish carpentry and the importance of quality craftsmanship. Following this, he held an internship with a Bellingham Marine building cast concrete floating docks. Although he enjoyed this, he came back on land and transitioned to another company as a project manager for outdoor living hardscapes. With a desire for travel, he then switched to the commercial side, traveling as a project manager for NPSG as a subcontractor building out Amazon delivery centers. His final stop while traveling and working was heading out to Colorado to work for a bit in the skiing industry, then up to King Salmon Alaska to work in the salmon industry.
Bradley moved back to Florida in August 2018 and enrolled in University of North Florida’s Construction Management program. He spent about six months framing for ICG and joined E Squared Design & Construction in March 2019. He’s passionate, professional, and has both the design and construction management experience that makes him a perfect fit on our team. We’re confident you will enjoy working with him as much as we do!
Darren Goffin - Field Technician.
Born and raised in North East Florida, Darren has over twenty years of experience in home building and remodeling. For E2 Design and Construction, Darren is truly our ‘jack of all trades.’ Some projects you will find Darren assisting in framing out an addition while others you may find him perfecting all of the little details to make sure your home is exactly the way you expect it at completion. While it can be difficult at times to avoid material delays or subcontractor availability, Darren bridges that gap and helps keep our projects moving along steadily, greatly reducing any project delays (a HUGE benefit for us & you!). Darren spends some of his free time helping friends and neighbors with their own home projects and if he isn’t doing that, you can find Darren outdoors somewhere enjoying his hobbies which include gardening, hiking, and kayaking. Darren is a proud father to one daughter and is a true lover of all animals, mostly for cats and birds though!
The leadership of E2 are rock solid people. The owner is a West Point graduate and Lt. Colonel in the US Army Reserve who manages hundreds of military personnel in major disaster recovery efforts all across the USA and abroad. I would absolutely trust this company to do a big construction project in my home or for my company. Michael Hosto Atlantic Beach, FL
Everything went great with our roof replacement. Everyone at E2 was extremely professional and the new roof looks great.
We had hail damage to our roof and E2 Design was recommended by our insurance company to repair or replace the roof on our home. Their representative scheduled an inspection and visit and recommended replacing our roof. We had one meeting where we wrote a check for our deductible to our insurance company and never lifted a finger after that. E2 took care of everything -permits, new roof, etc. The work was excellent and the roofer did a wonderful job on the roof and even did a thorough job cleaning up after they were finished and removed the dumpster in our drive within 24 hours. I would highly recommend E2. They are very professional and exceeded our expectations in the work done.
We had a great experience with them since day 1. We wanted to change floors demolish walls and do a full kitchen remodel on a house we had just bought. They fit us into their busy schedule, met with me and spent 2 hours going over the details of the planned remodel on her first visit. The remodel started on time, and we did not have any mayor set backs. They are extremely professional, have a great work ethic, honest and use greatsubcontractors. we are very happy with their work.
We remodeled a large kitchen and two full baths, including replacing the flooring in those 3, as well as the entrance, hall, and laundry room. I can say unequivocally that we would absolutely use E2 Design & Construction again, in fact, we are setting up time for a quote on a master bath remodel now. During the demo and construction, there were a couple of hiccups, none of which were E2's fault and they worked relentlessly to get the issues resolved, including one lingering issue with cabinets (again, NOT their fault) even after we had already paid in full. Elizabeth Evans and Liz Ellis, in particular, were a joy to work with. All their folks are of highest integrity, honest, and hard-working...which is why we're calling them again.
My husband and I had our floors replaced, crown molding added, a bay window seat and built-in bookshelf/desk designed and built, as well as a Jack-and-Jill area of house transformed in to an in-law suit. E2 Design and Construction were a joy to work with. Liz was instantly responsive, understanding and patient with all questions and followups. No construction job is without its bumps and the team never complained and did their best to keep us informed. The price was competitive (we received multiple quotes from vendors). The quality of the carpentry, floors, etc are all top notch. Additionally, and you dont see this so much in this field of work, Liz treated her employees exceptionally well. She communicated her expectations and supported them completely. She outwardly praised them and backed them up if/when they were being mistreated. You could tell she was good at managing people and a truly kind person who cares how other people are treated. The consummate professional and we loved having her, Glen, Eduardo and the whole team in our home for several weeks. We are so happy with the results of our transformed home and couldnt thank E2 enough. Its important to us to support small local businesses and with E2 being women and minority owned, we were really happy to work with them and couldnt be more impressed with the outcome. Thanks so much!
Elizabeth and Liz plus Mark and crew were a pleasure to work with. Ours was a small kitchen remodel with custom pantry. Liz went above and beyond with our custom pantry doors w/shelving, lighting option, and us nitpicking about the stop on one of the doors. They were professional, timely, neat and courteous. Job completed below estimate. Can't say enough good things about this company. Copy to clipboard
We had the pleasure to work with Andy Wildes (Construction Manager) from day 1 of our roof replacement up to the end. He has been phenomenal from the get go. Very professional, friendly, high quality service, personable. His customer service is best quality. If I owned my own business I would hire him in a heartbeat. Anytime we had any questions we called him. He picked up the phone on weekends, late nights, early hours, after hours. His calls never went to his voicemail. HE has the best people skills. Andy walked us thru the whole process and made us feel very comfortable. He kept in touch with us almost daily. Customers usually like to write reviews on their service which was great as well however I wanted to also include Andy. If you need ANY roofing assistance, we highly recommend Andy Wildes. You will NOT be disapointed for sure. Thank you Andy from the bottom of our hearts. You are the BEST!!!
Integrity, professionalism, quality
I was fortunate to hear about E2 Design and Construction for a challenging remodel on my older home. They listened to my concerns, answered my questions, offered suggestions and solutions along the way, communicated costs clearly, and were simply fantastic to work with. Beyond that, the quality of the work they did was superb. It's obvious they take pride in their work. I truly cannot say enough good about the job they did. Anyone who was familiar with my home before and has seen is after is amazed. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
Great work performed with attention to detail
Their entire team was a pleasure to work with. I required multiple renovations throughout my residence including ceiling replacement and repairs in several rooms. I'm quite impressed by the attention to detail and the project results.
